NH Media is hét mediabedrijf van Noord-Holland. Belangrijke pijlers binnen de organisatie zijn NH Nieuws, NH Radio en NH Sport. Zij zijn een innovatief mediabedrijf met gedreven professionals die hoogwaardige content leveren voor apps, websites, social media, radio en tv. Zij hebben een gezamenlijke bedrijfsvoering met Stichting Publieke Omroep Amsterdam (AT5, SALTO). Voor de Human Resources afdeling zijn wij op zoek naar een HR Medewerker (24-36 uur)

Wie ben jij?

Dagelijks schakelen tussen verschillende HR onderwerpen- en werkzaamheden is je op het lijf geschreven. Je bent servicegericht, secuur en bovenal ben je communicatief sterk, enthousiast en initiatiefrijk. Je kunt strak plannen en organiseren en hebt een goed gevoel voor prioritering. Je hebt een luisterend oor en bent niet op je mondje gevallen. Met jouw kijk op zaken ontwar je tijdig (mogelijke) knelpunten in processen en jouw daadkracht leidt naar oplossingen.

Een volle HR-mailbox kan je gemakkelijk aan. De mails en verzoeken verwerk je met de nodige vertrouwelijkheid, zorgvuldigheid en snelheid. Je weet wanneer het nodig is om collega’s aan te haken. Je bent een kei in het verwerken van (salaris)mutaties. Je hebt kennis en ervaring in het werken met personeelsinformatiesystemen. Wijzelf werken voornamelijk met MS Office en het personeelsinformatiesysteem HR2day. Ervaring met dit systeem is een pré.

Jouw kennis van de actuele arbeidsrechtelijke wet- en regelgeving is up-to-date. Je hebt minimaal een afgeronde mbo-opleiding in bijvoorbeeld HRM en hebt 1 tot 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie.

Dit ga je (o.a.) doen:

  • Je beheert de personeelsadministratie rondom in- door en uitstroom en je houdt het verzuim bij NH Media en POA in de gaten.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor personeelsmutaties en correcte correspondentie met de medewerkers.
  • Het werving- & selectieproces is bij jou in goede handen.
  • Je meldt de nieuwe stagiaires aan bij MediaStages en stelt Overeenkomsten van Opdracht op voor freelancers.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor leidinggevenden en medewerkers over HR en CAO gerelateerde zaken.
  • Je bewaakt de juiste toepassing van de CAO en regelingen.
  • Jouw collega’s mogen gevraagd en ongevraagd advies van jou verwachten.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de planning en de financiële afdeling voor een zorgvuldige administratie.

Salariëring en overige arbeidsvoorwaarden zijn conform de omroep-cao (schaal F), waaronder een eindejaarsuitkering van 6%. De standplaats is op dit moment Amsterdam. In november 2022 zal NH Media naar Hilversum verhuizen.

Je zorgt voor een meerjarige, gezonde exploitatie en weet de marktpositie uit te bouwen en te verbeteren.

Job Description

As a Commercial Director, you will take their revenue growth and commercial capabilities to the next level. You will co-develop and own their annual revenue targets and ensure these targets are translated into concrete commercial action plans for their Business Development team, Client Success team and Sales Operations team. You will have a broad responsibility for their commercial capabilities, ranging from developing the commercial strategy, optimizing workflows and pricing, to identifying new revenue streams.

You will actively represent their vision, company, and services outside of their company through direct client contact, speaking engagements and initiating marketing campaigns. You will also be responsible for ensuring that input and feedback from the market is transferred to their strategy, marketing activities and the roadmap of their products, increasing product/market fit and overall alignment of their products and services with client needs.

You will lead by example. You will help their Client Success, Business Development and Sales Operations  teams identify, prioritize and convert new opportunities at existing and potential clients. As many of their clients are companies headquartered in the US, you will use your hands-on experience of working in and with US companies as well as managing international teams to optimize and grow their commercial capabilities. Your experience helps you easily match market needs that are characteristic for the games business to their portfolio of market intelligence services.

For their talented commercial staff, you will serve as an inspirator and a coach, transferring your relevant knowledge and skills. You will drive innovation in terms of sales processes and go to market approach. Your deep understanding of how to scale a SaaS business and clear views on what key metrics to focus on, will help them to further build a high performing, data-driven commercial organization.

As part of our clients management team you help shape their long-term strategy and prioritize short term objectives from a commercial opportunity standpoint.

Your Responsibilities

  • Co-develop and own the overall commercial strategy and be the key accountable stakeholder for commercial success.
  • Develop and achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
  • Work with Business Development, Sales Operations and Client Success Team Leads in creating processes and guidelines to enable teams to work cohesively and maximize revenue.
  • Create new revenue streams and optimize existing revenue models; drive the pricing and packaging strategy for all portfolio products.

Your Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in fulfilling commercial leadership roles on an international level.

  • Experience in using or commercializing research and analytics products and services.
  • In-depth understanding of games ecosystem and how games companies use data.
