Video on demand
BeyondDutch is a subscription based video-on-demand (VoD) platform based in Hilversum, The Netherlands. They are specialized in niches with special-interest channels. Their fastest growing channels are New Faith Network and WithLove. They launched their first platform in 2017 in The Netherlands and are currently active in 8 countries: NL, BE, UK, IE, AU, NZ, NO and SE and entertaining almost 100.000 users.
To accelerate the growth of their expansion of their current and new to be opening niche channels, they are enlarging the marketing team. Together with the Marketing Director and with guidance and coaching of the experienced Global Performance Marketeer, you are tasked to acquire and expand the member base of the VoD channels in current and new countries.
They have a big fan base, amongst others on Facebook and Instagram, and performance budget to fulfil their marketing growth ambition. Are you up to the challenge to grow their number of users of the video-on-demand platforms?
To become the data driven Performance Marketeer at BeyondDutch , you have at least:
- Two years of social advertising experience, this is a mid-level position, preferably on agency side;
- Are able to plan, manage, measure and re-adjust strategies;
- Preferably managed large budgets;
Vacancy Performance Marketeer
The marketing & data team consists of 8 colleagues, each with a different background, education and experience, but smartly working together as one team. Within this team, and together with the Marketing Director and the Teamlead Global Performance Marketeer, you engineer, manage and optimize the performance strategies.
The Teamlead Global Performance Marketeer has broad experience in online marketing, is specialized in paid social campaigning, has served many clients and led social advertising teams. So, with aforementioned in mind:
Budget management
You operate within the marketing team and are the specialist where it comes to advertising on the Social Media platforms and other online opportunities. You are co-responsible for handling the budget and making decisions on spending the budget in close cooperation with the Marketing Director and Teamlead Global Performance Marketeer.
Day-to-day management
You are the one who runs the day-to-day management of the paid social channels you own/are responsible for and constantly you try new channels and other online opportunities.
You are data driven and based on your and your team’s analyses, you experiment and optimize with the advertisements in order to keep the growth. A/B testing is part of this. All in all, you are in the lead to improve the performance through creative testing and new optimization strategies.
Roadmap / Strategy
You are the one who runs the day-to-day management of the paid social channels you own/are responsible for and constantly you try new channels and other online opportunities.
Collaboration
Further, you will work closely together with the external digital agency (a great source of extra value and expertise) in order to manage projects, and to develop and implement new ideas and strategies. This also gives you and them creative input.
Based on your experience and the outcome of the campaigns, you will share your knowledge with the rest of the marketing team and the various stakeholders. In this way they all can learn from each other and get more inspiration in order to excel.
As their platforms produce lots of data based on what is and/or has been viewed at what date and time, you will try to find/gain further insights. You will do this together with the data analysts of the data engineering team.
What we ask of you
- Bachelor/master degree, yes please.
- Know your way around with Facebook Business Manager, Business Managers of Pinterest, Snapchat, Google Analytics etc.
- Experience in co-managing large marketing budgets is a pre.
- English written and spoken is a must, Dutch is a big plus
