Job description

We are looking for a remarkable Marketing Director to head the Marketing department and join the Marketing & Communications team consisting of three people.

You’ll be responsible for taking the MassiveMusic brand to the next level, building it, nurturing it, with the ultimate goal of driving business. You’ll check our heart rate and overall health and, based on your thorough diagnosis and market research, you’ll set our global marketing strategy with clear (S.M.A.R.T.) objectives. You will be hands-on involved in the tactics to achieve these objectives, reporting directly to the Global COO.

Skills and Requirements
  • Experience in the field is vital: you’ve got at least +5 years in a senior marketing role at a relevant brand, consultancy or agency
  • You understand effective marketing is ultimately about building brand and driving business
  • You are market-oriented to the bone and have experience in market research
  • You have proven abilities in setting a marketing strategy based on market intelligence, and a solid understanding of marketing tech (including SEO, paid digital media and email marketing)
  • You are creative in finding ways to solve problems and develop and execute marketing campaigns on differing budgets that will achieve the strategic objectives you’ve set
  • You know how to set up a lead generation funnel that will be actionable for the sales teams
  • You’re a – excusez le cliché – team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You focus on the big picture rather than details and motivate the team by giving them freedom while keeping them accountable for the results
  • You finished a school that upgraded your cognitive processes to the next level
  • Your brain is skeptical but open-minded, evidence based and analytical
  • You have that special something that no curriculum can teach
  • Les Binet, Mark Ritson and Peter Field are some of your favourite marketing gurus
  • You’re so fluent in English that Oxford’s got nothing on you
  • You bathe regularly and have a great sense of humour
  • You have music running through your veins and are aware that music without U and I is just msc
