Our client is a successful localisation businesses offering subtitling and dubbing services from its various international offices. Its customers include blue-chip broadcasters, platforms and content owners around the world.
They have so far achieved substantial organic growth, but are now refocused on growing rapidly through M&A and investment as the requirements for media localisation increase in line with global content production.
The successful candidate will provide leadership to the Dutch office and ensure the local business is aligned to the global business strategy.
They will focus on business performance and own P&L responsibility for the territory as well as leading the teams. They will also have operational oversight, ensuring clients receive high quality services promptly delivered at a reasonable cost.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will drive the business and develop sales plans alongside global management, plus build strong relationships with clients to understand their objectives.
Prior leadership experience in localisation or media services is essential for this role, as is understanding the role of these businesses to the broadcasters, platforms and content owners.
Operational and team management experience is key – delegating duties, providing guidance and identifying core strengths.
You must also have led a team commercially and be able to generate new business from customers, while overseeing budget and costs.
The successful candidate must be confident in building strong relationships with clients, senior global management and industry stakeholders.
